Use the ingredients as directed on the package.

• Safe for all aquatic life, including fish, invertebrates, and plants.
• Avoid using Safe if the water temperature exceeds 30 °C (86 °F) to prevent potential adverse effects.
• Use caution in low-oxygen environments or when using Seachem Safe alongside other oxygen-reducing products.
• Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children and pets.

For 200 mg Scoop (Included):

• To Reduce Chlorine and Chloramine: Use 200 mg of Safe (one included scoop) per 200 L (50 US gallons) of water.
• For Ammonia Detoxification: Use 200 mg of Safe per 50 L (13 US gallons) of water.

For All Other Sizes:

• To Reduce Chlorine and Chloramine: Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) of Seachem Safe for every 1,250 L (300 US gallons) of water.
• For Ammonia Detoxification: Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) of Seachem Safe for every 300 L (75 US gallons) of water.
• For Precise Dosing: Use the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale for accurate measurement.

Application:

• Seachem Safe can be added directly to the aquarium, but it is recommended to add it to new water first.
• If adding directly to the aquarium, base the dose on the total aquarium volume.
• For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely.
• To detoxify nitrite and nitrate in emergencies, up to 4 times the normal dose can be used.
• If the water temperature exceeds 30 °C (86 °F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use half the recommended dose.
