Pyrantel Paste (pyrantel pamoate) is a pale yellow to buff paste containing 43.9% w/w pyrantel pamoate in an inert vehicle. Each syringe contains 3.6 grams of pyrantel base in 23.6 grams paste.
Each mL contains a 171 mg pyrantel base as pyrantel pamoate.

Usage
For the removal and control of mature infections of large strongyles (Strongylus vulgaris, S. edentatus, S. equinus); small strongyles; pinworms (Oxyuris equi); and large roundworms (Parascaris equorum) in horses and ponies.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Administer as a single oral dose of 3 mg pyrantel base per pound of horse body weight.
Use the syringe’s four weight markings, each for a 300 lb increment.
Deposit the paste on the back of the horse’s tongue by inserting the syringe at the corner of the mouth and fully depressing the plunger.
Raising the horse’s head may help with swallowing.
Replace the syringe cap to preserve unused paste.
