- Gently lift your senior dog's lip so you can see their teeth. Use small, gentle circular motions to brush their teeth. Focus on the outside surfaces of the teeth, especially near the gum line, as plaque builds up there.
- Aim to brush each tooth or section of teeth for a few seconds. Try to work up to brushing all accessible teeth within a session, ideally for about two minutes total.
