Aquarium Solutions Prazipro Liquid Treatment 1-oz

Aquarium Solutions Prazipro Liquid Treatment is one of the best aquarium water treatments, and one of our top picks for treating parasitic infections of all kinds, in freshwater or saltwater. This aquarium solution uses praziquantel, an effective and proven ingredient that helps get rid of parasites such as flukes, tapeworms, and flatworms. Because it comes in a liquid form, it makes it easy to dose and yields fast results.

• A unique combination of water-soluble components, with Oxybispropanol serving as an inert agent to aid solubility and containing less than 5% Praziquantel by weight.

• If the product contacts your eyes, rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If on skin, wash with soap and water. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water and seek medical advice if conscious.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• For aquarium use only. Not for human or veterinary medical use. Not for use on food fish.
• No known contraindications except for use in marine systems where flatworms of the Polycladida order are being cultured.
• Do not use other drugs or disease treatments.
• May cause temporary foaming; does not negatively impact dissolved oxygen or biological filtration.

• Conduct as large a water change as practical or start with new water. Condition new water to remove chlorine, chloramines, and ammonia.
• Keep filtration running, but remove activated carbon and turn off foam fractionation (protein skimming) and UV sterilization.
• Shake the bottle vigorously before use.
• Dosage for Aquarium Solutions: 1 teaspoon per 20 gallons (or 1 fl. oz. per 120 gallons)
• Pond Solutions: 1 teaspoon per 32 gallons (or 1 fl. oz. per 200 gallons)
• Distribute around the edge of the aquarium/pond or pour directly into the filter for best distribution.
• Treat for 5–7 days; repeat as needed, but not more than once every 3–5 days.
• Monitor fish for cessation of scratching, flashing, and healing of lesions. Microscopic examination of feces can confirm success.
• Standard dosage when disease is likely.
