Best Cat Toy Ever!

I have 9 cats: 4 adults and 5 kittens. All of our cats love these wands with the plush animals. The 'string' is an elastic band which makes these more fun than your average string toy. The stretchy nature of the band makes the toy bounce better and allows the cats to pull against the band's resistance. They are great for both pulling along the floor allowing the cats to stalk and hunt them and flying through the air allowing the cats to jump and run after them. The only downside is that the rubber bands break faster than the fishing line used with most cat toys today. To lengthen the bands life, when not playing with the toy, don't leave it where the cats can get it. The fastest way for the band to fray is allowing the cat to chew on it. The second tip related to the band is not to play tug-of-war with it. My 16lb cat loves to try and pull the toys off. Give the cat slack until they let go. With nine cats, I just bought 10 new wands a few weeks ago. So far, none are broken even with so many cats. Like I said, best cat toy ever.
