- Always rinse baby shrimp before feeding to remove excess salt.
- Use only clean, dechlorinated water for each hatching cycle.
- Store unused eggs in a cool, dry place.

- Add 1 liter (1 quart) of dechlorinated water to a clean hatching container.
- Add 1 teaspoon of San Francisco Bay Brand Brine Shrimp Eggs and aerate for 1 hour to rehydrate.
- Mix in 2 tablespoons of aquarium (rock) salt while maintaining aeration.
- Keep temperature between 80–82°F (26–28°C) and pH above 8.0.
- Eggs typically hatch within 24–36 hours.
- After hatching, turn off aeration, direct a light source at the bottom, and wait 5–10 minutes for shells to float.
- Siphon shrimp from the bottom using airline tubing into a fine net, rinse with fresh water, and feed directly to fish.
