Red Sea NO3:PO4-X Biological Nitrate & Phosphate Reducer 33.8-oz

Control excess nutrients and prevent algae outbreaks with Red Sea’s NO3 and PO4-X Nitrate & Phosphate Reducer. Red Sea Products advanced solution is a carefully balanced blend of carbon compounds, each supporting different strains of beneficial microorganisms, all in a reef-safe formula. By encouraging the growth of natural nutrient-reducing bacteria already present in the aquarium, it provides a highly effective and sustainable way to lower nitrates and phosphates.

As a core component of Red Sea’s Algae Management Program, NO3 and PO4-X offers a controlled biological reduction process suitable for all reef and marine aquariums. Regular aquarium water treatments testing combined with proper dosing allows hobbyists to manage nutrients precisely without causing undesirable side effects to corals, fish, or invertebrates. Unlike chemical removers, this method supports a natural balance within the tank, ensuring long-term stability and healthier conditions for marine life.

• Avoid overdosing as it may lead to excessive bacterial growth or cyanobacteria blooms.
• Safe for all aquarium inhabitants including corals, fish, and beneficial microfauna.
• Do not combine with other phosphate removal products.
• Store in a cool, dark place and keep the bottle sealed when not in use.
• In case of accidental large overdose, strong protein skimming should mitigate risks.
• Use continually as part of a nutrient management program, not a one-time treatment.

• Start with half the recommended dose to assess aquarium response.
• Dose consistently daily for best results.
• Use high quality nitrate and phosphate test kits to monitor levels regularly.
• Maintain stable dosing through a dosing pump if possible for precision.
• Adjust dosage gradually based on test results to maintain desired nutrient levels.
• Effective protein skimming is critical when using this product to safely remove bacteria byproducts.
