Feeding Instructions:

Weight = Daily Feeding (cups)

Up to 5 lbs = 1/4 - 1/2

5 - 10 lbs = 1/2 - 3/4

10 - 15 lbs = 3/4 - 1

15 - 20 lbs = 1 - 1 1/3

20 - 25 lbs = 1 1/3 - 1 2/3

25 + lbs = 1 2/3 + 1/2 or every 5 lbs > 25 lbs

Mixing with canned? Replace 1/2 cup for each 1/2 can of Pedigree. 1 cup = 8 oz. measuring cup, 1 can = 13.2 oz.

Transition Instructions:

Start by mixing 25% new food with 75% of the current formula. Slowly change the proportions over the next 3 days or so by gradually increasing the new food and lessening the amount of the current food. At the end of the weaning process, you should be feeding 100% of the new food.
