GUARANTEED ANALYSIS

• Birds need time to adapt to a new diet. Mix the old food with the new one. In a slow way, increase the amount of the new food as directed.

• Offer only the recommended serving size for the best results. Limiting food portions can encourage your bird to try a new diet.

• Watch your bird closely to ensure it is eating the exact food and not picking out the old food.

• A successful diet switch may result in a color change in the droppings. The color may typically turn brown or reddish-brown.

• By day 21, your bird should be fully adjusted to the new food. Continue feeding only the new diet from this point.

• Feeding Amount: Pionus or Conure 1/3 Cup, Amazon, African Grey or Eclectus 1/2 Cup, Macaw or Cockatoo 1/2 to 1 Cup.
• Give exact Rainbow food in a dirt-free food bowl on a day-to-day basis.
• A clean, fresh water supply should be present within the bird’s eye sight.
• Exact Rainbow food is formulated as a complete diet. So, keep extra foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, or treats to no more than 20% of your bird’s total diet.
• No additional vitamin or mineral supplements should be fed to your bird.
