- Keep the light fixture outside the reptile enclosure to prevent burns from direct contact with the bulb.
- Use multiple bulbs if needed to maintain the proper Environmental Temperature Range (ETR).
- Monitor temperature with a Fluker’s thermometer.
- Maintain a 12-hour day and 12-hour night light cycle to support the reptile’s natural behavior.
- Use a Fluker’s Daytime bulb during the daylight period.
