- Just before using, take the Seresto collar out of its protective pouch.
- Make sure there are no remaining plastic connectors inside the collar after unrolling it.
- Make sure there is enough room for two fingers to fit comfortably around your cat's neck when you adjust the collar.
- After determining the proper length, insert the collar's end through the loop and trim any extra length, leaving around 2 cm (¾ inch) outside the loop.
- Make sure the collar touches your cat's skin.
- Periodically check the fit and make any required adjustments, particularly if your cat grows.
- As soon as the collar is applied, it begins to function.
