Most aquarium fish don’t eat other fish, they eat algae, insects, and small crustaceans, but you may have never guessed that by looking at the foods in the marketplace today. Unlike competitive formulas, Aqueon® Nutrinsect™ food is a highly palatable, plant and insect-based, complete diet like the one your fish would naturally eat in the wild. This 100% fish-free formula does not contain fishmeal, whole fish, or fish oils, instead containing insect-based proteins, mealworms, daphnia, black soldier fly larvae, and bloodworms. By going with a fish-free food, you are helping to protect and sustain earth’s oceans, all while ensuring that your fish get the complete diet they deserve with spirulina for color enhancement and digestive health, and vitamins and minerals for overall health and happiness.
