Zilla Night Red Heat Incandescent Bulb 100W

The Zilla Night Red Heat Incandescent Bulb is designed to provide consistent ambient heat to reptile habitats while emitting a gentle red glow that does not disrupt the animals' natural nocturnal habits or sleep patterns.

Zilla Heat Incandescent Bulb makes it ideal for nighttime use and for observing shy or nocturnal species without disturbing their rest. It is the reptile heat lamp you will ever receive. The bulb features heavy-duty filaments that offer more hours of service compared to average bulbs, ensuring reliable performance and durability.

• Use proper fixtures: Always install the bulb in ceramic sockets or Zilla Reflector Domes designed for high-wattage heat bulbs to prevent melting or fire hazards.
• Keep flammable materials away: Maintain a clear space around the bulb, keeping bedding, curtains, paper, and wood at a safe distance to reduce fire risk.
• Handle with care: Let the bulb cool before touching or replacing to avoid burns.
• Use a thermostat: Pair the bulb with a thermostat or temperature controller to regulate heat output and prevent overheating.

• Install the bulb in a suitable Zilla Reflector Dome or a compatible ceramic heat lamp fixture designed to handle high-wattage bulbs. Avoid plastic sockets to prevent melting or damage.
• Position the fixture so that the bulb is outside the enclosure if possible, or securely mounted within to create a focused warm basking area. Ensure your reptile can move freely in and out of the heat zone to thermoregulate.
• Turn on the bulb to provide essential ambient heat during nighttime hours without disrupting your reptile’s natural sleep cycle. The red glow emitted is gentle and does not interfere with nocturnal behaviors.
• Monitor the temperature inside the terrarium regularly using thermometers to ensure it remains within the ideal range for your species. Adjust wattage or bulb distance if necessary.
